Marie Wallin, Director

Planet Architecture was founded by Marie Wallin who has been practicing sustainable architecture in Melbourne for over a decade. Marie has designed numerous new homes and renovations during this time, with an ever-increasing focus on ESD (Environmentally Sustainable Development).

Marie holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, a Bachelor of Planning and Building, and a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons). She is a member of the Building Designers Association of Victoria and a Registered Building Professional.

Marie is a pragmatic professional who pays special attention to integrating ESD with high functionality and stylish aesthetics. She has a thorough knowledge of the environmental value of building materials, which she gained in working with building biologists and dedicating 6 months to researching this topic for well-known architect Greg Burgess. Marie has a regular column in Green magazine.

With Planet Architecture, Marie’s vision is to deliver sustainable design and information services widely to accelerate the rate of change towards sustainability.
